Planting Tips

Our terracotta pots are frost-resistant. Please follow the planting instructions we provide as shown in the diagram below.

1 -Thoroughly wet both the inside and outside of the pot before planting.

2- Place stones or expanded clay pebbles in the base.

3- Add a layer of geotextile membrane (available from garden centres) to stop the compost mixing with the expanded clay pebbles. This prevents the compost soiling the ground during watering.

4- Soak the root ball in water before placing in the pot.

5- The feet under the pot facilitate the free circulation of air, allow the evacuation of excess water and avoid frost-related incidents. The saucers must be removed in times of frost.
